What to expect

What happens on the call?

You’ll be asked a few simple questions: what you’re seeing or smelling, where it is in the home, whether there’s been a leak, storm or flood, and roughly how large the affected area is. That helps us plan the right response, whether it’s an inspection, emergency cleanup or HVAC mold cleaning.

Call right away, or can it wait?

Call immediately if water is spreading across floors, dripping through a ceiling, backing up from a drain or has entered the house during a storm. The same goes for mold that is spreading quickly or growing in a room used by someone with health concerns. Speed matters because wet materials can begin to grow mold within a day or two.

If you’ve noticed an old stain, a faint musty smell or a small spot of growth that hasn’t changed, you have a little more time, but it’s still worth calling soon. Small problems are easier and less expensive to fix before they spread, and an early assessment can tell you whether the issue is active or long past.
